Smile Want your no clock problem to be solved?

Hey everyone.
So I cant believe it didn't occur to me to post this sooner. I remember going around the forum and seeing a few posts about disappointed users who wish they had a way to tell time on their bike. Well, if you don't want to buy a cheap watch and are willing to dish out a little cash, you now can.

A vlogger that I watch has recently bought a clock for his bike, and it didnt fit. So he called the company and now the company makes clocks for ninja 250's like ours. Here's a basic video explaining the clock.

Link to original page on YouTube.

Click Here for the page that sells the ninja clocks.

When I get a motorcycle and have some spare cash (because it is about $50) I'll sure be getting myself one of these. Sure, its no cheap 10 dollar watch, but to me it looks cleaner and I'm all about looks.

Just thought I'd share with you guys.

Yeah I think so too, to be honest. It'd be one of my last farkles when I get it. The creator of the video I posted does a monthly give away for them though for like a year. That could be worth a good try. lol.

I problem with having a clock on the bike is, when you get home you can't use the excuse, sorry I'm late, I had no idea what time it was?

It would be better if it was a digital LED or OLED. The numbers are tiny and the time it takes for you to look down, note where the hands are in relation to the numbers is much longer than you want your eyes off the road.

+1. I dont understand why most bike clocks are analog. I want a large digital led or oled. Brightness and color change options would be great, orange, blue, green or red. add a large on/off switch and it'd be perfect

That's what I'm thinking...I have little interest in knowing the time. A general idea is good enough for me.

Eh...I feel all caged-in just thinking about it.

+1 I hate to add negative momentum to new products, especially when they're just getting off the ground or when a company decides to expand on or support new models, but the digital clock would be my route too. Granted the clocks are really nice, but I don't want an analog clock on something thats supposed to be high-tech!! It's like fuel injection in a Harley! Somethin jus aint right!

What is so difficult about making a digital clock for a bike? No one seems to do it. I dont care if it has to be hardwired in, just give me a digital clock before I have to come up with them!

Neat clock I found on eBay

like most of us I've already got a timex wrapped around my handlebars, but I came across this today and thought some people might like it.

These are $10 cheaper if you buy directly through their website instead of through ebay. See http://www.clocks4bikes.com/Ninja250R.html. These would cover those unslightly scratches on my stem bolt caused by my keys, too.

^^^ that's because there is no backlight. If you add the backlight option, it adds the $10 on.

I actually emailed them about the digital a month or two back. I think its a husband and wife company, and assuming I'm right, the wife told me that she told the husband, but he's not listening so far. She said perhaps if more people request it, he will listen. Reason being is he's old school. So feel free to email them about making it digital. (I think it'd be rude to ask for it to be cheaper though, so lets not.) x-)

Yep - I have one on my wife's bike. It does the trick. I think I should have ordered one with the black dial & white numerals however, as her bike is black.
