Son of a.... GRR

So I was a member of a site called Bikerworlds.com it is...er correction, was, a site very much like Myspace.

I have been a member here since I started riding because I would post up my blog/ride reports and then just send out links to my family and friends so they can check out my latest adventure.

So I go there today to put up my ride report from Saturday and they are gone... NO warning emails, no come save your writings... No nothing. Just gone.... Along with about a half a year of blogs that I hadn't gotten around to archiving!!!

I am so mad.. So so mad... Just... GRRR! No words...

That sucks! I remember when the same thing happened (for a while) to the Chicriders website. Some sort of internal dispute; but no warning or anything - just went to sign on one day and POOF!!!!! it was gone. It came back but ........wasn't the same - left a bad taste after the disappearing act.

I empathize with you Sunny.

K - I hadn't realized there was that small a limit on blog entries. It's now been raised from 10,000 characters to 50,000 characters, and the pic limit per entry has been raised from 4 to 20 per entry. Sorry bikerworlds zapped your entries. Won't happen here! (unless you do something crazy like get a green bike or something).

Yay it is back!

I am in the process of archiving all the old logs I hadn't gotten to, just in case.

I don't know if I trust them or not now... Perhaps I should make use of my blog here instead... I trust Alex more than I do them...
