Where is Matt from Sportisimoto USA?

Has anyone heard from Matt lately? I've been trying to contact him for weeks with no response.

Last I heard from him he was taking a management job in San Jose and taking a big step back from running Sportisimoto. It was just consuming too much of his time for the monetary reward to be worth it. He's still supporting the AFM guys and the Feel Like a Pro team up there in the bay because they're all friends, but as far as I know he's pretty much done importing stuff for now.

Economy's affected everyone pretty hard. I hear there's been a dramatic reduction in gang related activities/reports/etc. City officials would like for you to think the cause were the crime prevention team but that can't be further from the truth. Gang bangers can't go bang bang anymore because homies be raising gun prices. Times are hard....for everyone.

Haha, that reminds me of when the NFL lockout was going on. Ray Lewis said if football isn't played on sundays evil will happen, crime will increase.

"Do this research if we don't have a season -- watch how much evil, which we call crime, watch how much crime picks up, if you take away our game," Lewis told ESPN's Sal Paolantonio.

That's because, Lewis said, the NFL lockout affects "way more than us" -- the owners and the players.

"There's too many people that live through us, people live through us," he said. "Yeah, walk in the streets, the way I walk the streets, and I'm not talking about the people you see all the time."

When asked why he thought crime would increase if the NFL doesn't play games this year, Lewis said: "There's nothing else to do Sal."

Wonder if he also meant to include out of work NFL players??

Thank you for your email and inquiry to Sportisi Motorsport.
I will assist you regarding your question, about Matt.. yes he is now busy with his full time job, and we don't know if he'll be active again as our dealer in US.

We currently shipped directly to US to any customers who want to buy things from us.
So, if you have anything that you like to have from Sportisi, shoot me an email.

I have a pending order with him and have been trying to get a hold of him. I'll try and give him a call this Saturday and see what's up. I last talked to him in early December and he was really busy at that time.

yeah, shipping is the killer when its for single items... the only way to make it work is to get a bigger shipment sent, since that spreads the shipping price throughout multiple pieces.

realistically the cheapest way to send goods is by ocean freight if its a big enough volume, but then you need to pick up the crate at the harbour... getting ocean freight sent directly to your house also costs a heap... there are all sorts of charges ++++ that get hit on top for door to door delivery.

actually ends up being cheaper and much faster to just DHL the goods in the end if its like under a cubic meter of volume, surprisingly enough.

yah for an exhaust system you are looking a 165$ + 4%paypal fee +duties (if they apply). I have talked to them and that is the cheapest they will go.

I am considering becoming another U.S. distributor for Sportisi... it's a lot of time and effort for sure, so not an easy decision.

Matt from Sportisi?

I ordered a part from him a while back, and it was backordered. Up until about a month ago he was great about staying in touch, but now nothing. Does anyone know what's up with him? It was not a cheap part...

I was able to get in touch with him without any problem. If you had a pre-existing order give him some time to respond. If it's about a potential order, he's probably not the guy to talk to.

Yeah, I finally heard from him early february saying he'd reverse my payment for the FE I never got (immediately after I filed a complaint on PayPal...), then nothing. I think I got shorted $150...

I'm still missing my rear-sets and clip-ons from him. I talked to him about a couple of weeks ago and he said he was looking into getting them from woodcraft instead but I've not heard from him since. I'll give him a ring later today and see how it goes.

Angry where is Matt

I took my bike to Bonneville. Module failed while I was there. Had to run with the original module. As a result, I need an engine. Tried calling Matt from there. No response
