Model Info: EX300A/B with GPS

Hello guys, it's been quite a while since I last logged onto here to post info about a Ninjette but here I am back again working on a little something, the 2013+ Ninja 300 wiring diagram.

I was going through the service manual just yesterday and came across a few variations on the Ninja 300 and was hoping on or a few of you could help me with this as I'm too busy poking my around my Ninja 1000

Listed Models are:

EX300A
EX300A w/ GPS
EX300B
EX300B w/ GPS

I could possibly deduct that the variation between A and B models are only a color difference but...

the real question is what is the "GPS version" of this bike?

I noticed it has a factory installed GPS unit and an extra harness, is this an option when purchasing a Ninja 300 in North America? Or if it is an option when purchasing the Ninja anywhere else in the world, please let me know!

I can't seem to find much info about it but from what I can deduct from the service manual's wiring diagram it seems like the so called "GPS Unit" seems like a safety feature, possibly to work in conjunction with an optional monthly payment GPS tracking system.

The units connect to the turn signals like an alarm system would, the unit also connects to a siren, so my conclusion is that this option is only available in markets where there is a higher theft rate for motorcycles.

I'm still looking for info on this, but so far there isn't much.
