2009 SE Green vinyl status check

Anyone having problems with their white vinyl yet? After a couple hundred kms I noticed some minor bubbling but now it seems like it's gone...

Either way, I don't foresee it lasting more than a year/20,000 kms with scratches, rain etc. so I've had mod ideas for a green/black version on the back burner.

Here's a pic snagged from the other forum to give you an idea what it looks like too...

At 460 miles no problems yet - must be a north of the border issue

If vinyl gets a bubble the way to get rid of it is to poke a small hole on the outer edge of the bubble. Then push the air from the opposite side towards the little pin hole you made. If the bubble is really small u can just poke a hole in the middle and squish it flat

At the risk of being run off... i think the bike looks so much better without that white stripe. The green and black really set it off, but that white majorly detracts from the lines. IMHO... since no one asked.

I'm a bit torn. the black and green look sick, but I also like the white accents. i was even thinking of adding a similar scheme to my bike.

It's a color that you really have to see in person to appreciate. And now that I'm used to the white/black combo, the pic that I posted above seems empty... some decals etc. would fix it up nice though.

i gotta agree with you. i was planning on getting a green, but after seeing the new color scheme, i decided to go with black instead. also, imho. just personal preference. but that is why they offer 4 colors to suit different tastes.

yeah, something.... maybe change the color on that part leading to the opening on the lower fairing? idk. but yeah, it is missing something with it just being all black.

+1 And a matte black would probably be even better... again, just IMO.
