I drive a silver 07 Honda FIT as a DD and have a white 97 Toyota V6 2wd xcab truck to haul the dirt bike around in. GF has a silver 08 Prius.

Just sold a red 07 Civic Si sedan cause it was just too slow in that color.

Have a white 09 FIT on order and the 07 FIT will be up for sale in a few months.

this is in addition to the 08 250 Ninja and a fully street legal 06 Honda CRF230F dirt bike.

The DMV loves me here.

Is petrol in America expensive? Because over here, many people use to drive around in V8+ vehicles, but recently smaller car sales have sky rocketed due to petrol prices. But looking here, you guys are still driving around in your gas guzzling 'SUV's' and stangs.

prices have dropped back down. for a while it was pretty nuts. dealerships couldn't move the large suv's for anything. in hawaii, gas got up to around $4.80 a gallon or so for super unleaded. i don't remember exactly how much it was. right now it is about $2.58? i only fill up my car once every 4-6 weeks, so i don't pay attention to the prices.

and what do you mean gas guzzling stang? i get an amazing 13 mpg city driving.(highway it jumps up to about 25 mpg) lol. yeah, good thing i walk to work.

Why not ride the 250r to work? What MPG are you getting from the bike, on average.

don't know the mileage of my bike. never calculated it yet. the only reason why i know my car's is because it displays my mpg. i walk because my job is literally across the street from my condo. i used to be able to get to work in 4 minutes from my unit's front door to my locker. now it takes me about 6 minutes because they took away a crosswalk and i gotta walk to the next one down. i come home every day for my lunch hour.... and check this forum. hehe.

These are stock pictures, but my 2008 Altima Coupe looks exactly the same. I've never owned or wanted a red car in my life, but when I saw my first Altima Coupe last year it was this color and I just couldn't take my eyes off it. It was the same feeling I got when I saw my first Yamaha Seca Turbo and the early Suzuki Katanas. The styling just grabed me and didn't let go. It's a 6-speed manual shift and accelleration in 3rd while passing is like hitting the "warp speed" switch. Has all the goodies like keyless entry and push-button starting, more horsepower than a Camry and gets great MPG. There are plenty of Altimas on the road, but I've only seen 2 other Coupes in traffic since I bought it last year. It only has one body panel (the aluminum hood) in common with the standard Altima and I get stares and comments continually. Bought it the same month as I did my Ninja and I'd have to say those were two of the best purchases I've ever made in my life.

I think I'd go R33. But we don't get any Skylines over here... unless you consider the new R35 Nissan GTR a Skyline.

I personally think the R35 is a totally different car... Skylines stopped at the R34 IMO.

As for the Skyline population, we get HEAPS over here, but not GTR's. All you hear all day is "Vroooooooom, stuuuu (B.O.V)"

that is what i don't like about the gto. the gto has such a great history and they just get an aussie car... albeit a great aussie car, throw the gto badge on it and expect gto loyals to buy it. oh, the other thing i don't like about it is that it is a GM

Isn't GM going down the drain with all their financial problems

As for the 'F-word' truck, I thought it might have been something else so I Googled 'D'uck Truck..

I looked at the Accord Coupes too. The one that I liked was the Si and it required premium gas. This was when regular gas was $4 a gallon and I just couldn't do it. I wasnt that impressed with the interiors of the Hondas either. The interiors all seem to give up style for ease of use and I found the controls and knobs to be very plastic-y and large. The Altima Coupe's interior is much more refined and stylish IMO.
At the time the Altima Coupe made it's first appearance I was working at a car-hauling company located at the "New England Automotive Gateway" in Central Mass. That's where every new car is brought in by train from the car factories and then trucked by us to the dealers. So I got to see every new make and model of car that came out. The Nissan section of the huge storage lot was right outside my office window. I came to work one morning and saw my first AC being unloaded from the train and it was love at first sight. That job had some great advantages, like being able to see every possible color and option package of any car made and even being able to "test drive" a few on the sly. By the time I showed up at the Nissan dealer I knew exactly what I wanted and it was the easiest sale the salesman ever made!

Music playing in the backround as everything slowed down.

premium..ewwe

Anyone here have anything to say for the mazda 3 6 or CX-7?
I'm planning on a new car and considering all of them but haven't test drove any yet.
I also like the Element, the newer xb and the flex. though I would go as far to spend that much for the flex.
thoughts?

Hey that's nothing. Go over onto one of the Altima Coupe message boards and you'll see some really obsessed owners!
If you're into weird-looking cars, don't forget about the Nissan CUBE or the Kia SOUL, although I'd probably opt for a Scion since they've been building xbs for a while and have the Toyota brand behind them.

I'm planning on a new car and considering all of them but haven't test drove any yet.
I also like the Element, the newer xb and the flex. though I would go as far to spend that much for the flex.
thoughts?
I can't speak from personal experience, but I know a friend who has a 6 from a few years ago and has over 100k miles on it. I know he's never had problem with it and he drives it hard. He uses it year-round and loves it. I'm not sure about the new line of Mazda's though. I won't lie, I don't like the way they look very much.
