The price of fashion

Vespas are cool.

They've got the whole Italian Gregory Peck-and-Audrey Hepburn Roman Holiday thing going on.

Then there's the Sting in Quadrophenia thing.

But check this out. This is almost DOUBLE what I paid for my Ninja, and frankly I'd much rather have my bike.

Sheesh!

SIX GRAND for a used SCOOTER?

although I'd probably take that aprilia over it

EDIT: Speaking of awesome small aprilias, man I wish we got street legal rs125's in the states... or even the rs50. SO COOL!

WANT! Although, I would probably be in the same boat as I am now wanting something with more power above 60...

I always thought the caf racers in Quadrophenia looked cooler than the multi mirrored monsters.

Scooters, Mopeds, Trikes.......aren't they all the same? Like a fat chic, fun to ride but you don't want your friends to see you on one.

You can buy a brand new RS125 here in the states. They're just really expensive and slow.

I thought you could only get them as track bikes. Also from what I have seen they are on par or faster than our 250's. The reason they are so expensive is because they have the upgrades of a nicer bike, and they are still only like 5.5k. No new 2 stroke bikes are legal here any more as far as I know. The older ones are still around though, my dad has a yamaha rd350 and its pretty f'n fast for a 350.

They make the same, if not more HP then the new 250 Ninja. And then all the components on the bike are of far higher quality.
Also weighs a lot less.
I still wouldn't want to pay that much for one though.

Up here they can be made street legal fairly easily, I've seen 3 different ones out on the street.

My dealer had an RS125 for same price as my 250. Far as the state could care about just need lights mirrors and plate.
