Craigslist Scooter ad: "This scoot will leave a 250 ninja off the line & top speed is around 70-75mph"

"2007 Jonway gy6 150, only has 1,950 miles, has always been garage kept & never been outside over night, upgrades include full racing exhaust, cold air intake with K&N racing filter, Walbro Carb with a jet kit (115), Racing CDI box with 8,500rpm rev limit, racing coil & plug wire, ngk plug, Gates Kevlar racing Belt, Dr. Pulley 14g roller weights, Alarm with remote start, two 3 1/2in. competition speakers mounted in glove box (glovebox is still usable), CD player under seat & has a ipod plug, Urban Camo tires with 90% tread, Aftermarket billet style grips, Valve cover has been polished, everything works on bike & the bike performs & handles perfect, just like it should. Actually scooters can take a ninjette off the line because of the auto vs manual tranny issue. However, it's short lived and only lasts about the first 60' or so. After that the ninjette will smoke it.

Exactly, and don't forget the Silverwing or the T-max scooters. Those things are NOT slow.
