i could eat my $400 deposit, purchase this bike, and still be about $300 ahead. ugh, i should have waited. I actually saw this bike at the Kawi dealer that he won it at... the saleslady called me so i could see the 12 color in person... maybe i should have waited for it to show up on craigslist. i dont think he knows how much it is worth. Maybe not, but experience as taught me that most deals on CL that are too good to be true usually are just that.

I'm actually a Good Times Sales Event winner (just waiting for the '12 to arrive at the dealer) and there are quite a few others I've seen on here too, so I believe the story 100%. I just hate prize bikes being wasted on people who are just going to sell them though. But hey, great deal for a '12 for someone.

Yep, sounds legit. There was a winner here too. Was selling for $4500. Guess no one bit so he sold it to a local dealer. Now the dealer is asking $4200 so I guess the winner settled for a lost less. Too bad a local rider couldn't get on the deal instead of a dealer.

no its legit. i won one from the good times sweepstakes as well. pics posted on my profile.

sad thing is dealerships can turn these around for 6k+ in my area. and seeing as how this isnt released, the salespeople on the floor would very likely try to hit 7-8k otd.

As a winner myself it's sad to see the bike being sold but at least the seller is not price gouging.

I plan to ride the hell out of mine then turn it over to the wife in about 2-3 years if she decides to ride. If she doesn't wish to ride then I will probably keep it for my son.

I plan on giving the 2012 to my wife and getting back onto a 600 or getting another ninjette. I found an 09 ninjette for a stupid crazy price local so I might pick it up shortly if its legit.
