Washed the bike for the first time, had to get all the mud off after I dropped her yesterday.
It was dark when I washed her so tomorrow will tell if I did as crappy of a job as I think I did. Also accidently peeled up a couple of letters on one of my Ninjette.org decals when drying the bike off. Any suggestions on what to use to glue it back down?

Made a mounting plate for my new GoPro hero3 remote control and bought second hero3. Tomorrow I get to strip all the bodywork and wire in new USB power sources for the added GoPro's and remote microphone. I must have 5 extra pounds under the seat and tank in just wires and connectors

Just fill up your tires with helium so it'll make your bike lighter.

Added hydrogen to my tires to make the bike lighter and made Battery power distribution rails to clean up the nest of wires I had going under my seat.

You should have used a power distribution block or a small auxiliary fuse panel. Makes for less of a clutter.

http://www.amazon.com/Auxiliary-Auto.../dp/B003JPCZAQ

....but I guess that would take away from the fun of making your own stuff.

I looked at that amazon part in your link while I was at the auto parts store last night and it only adds fuses in line, it doesn't connect to the battery to supply power. I'm going to get or built a much nicer box with a relay and fuses later but since all my stuff has fuses inline this will get the job done for free and quick.

And besides this means I've now met my quote for the day for "What did you do to your ninjette today"

Well, the red rubber thing isn't doing its job anymore.

Going to cover that terminal up soon?

Rode it!

Dry roads and temps up in the 30s, so I got out the Ninja and my ER-6n for 20 miles or so to limber them up.

What thickness of metal did you use? Is it just stainless sheet? That's a great idea!

Like obnoxiously noisy... people a quarter mile ahead start looking up, wondering why is a helicopter flying so low and where it is.

Still waiting for the baffle, riding my other bike for now.

Accidentaly left my scottoiler on prime mode and emptied my whole reservoir in a few days... Whoops, on the plus side, my chain is looking really good!

Adjusted it and it's running smoooth, fitted my new right side panel.

After looong time (2 ft of snow outside) took her for a spin, washed her up (at 0°C :S), lubed chain and ordered carbon fiber print half tank cover from sportisi.
Hope they wont forget to order it.. again

Anyway.. does somebody have sportisi half tank cover for sale? Color is not important ... just in case if they forgot again.

Lubed the chain, quick wipe-down and spray wax (I never wash my bikes and they sit outside) and checked the tire pressures. My front was about 4 psi below my usual target 28 psi so I fixed that.

Rode the Efing piss out of it today 350 miles most of which was will a group even I couldn't keep up with I can visually see the damage I did to the tire with just today's ride. I won't be long before I'm back down to cords and looking for new tires

Trying to download 108gb of video off the two GoPros is taking forever.

Spent Saturday (02/16/13) giving it a wash, installing a Spiegler stainless steel front brake line, and installed a set of Vesrah front pads.

Got air in the tires and rode it for the first time in weeks. My static fuel map didn't have enough data to run properly, so I switched back to dynamic mode and all is well again

Went on a ride through some twisties for the first time in months ...
Man, now that I see myself on video versus all the other 250 twisty videos I look downright pathetic -- slow and barely leaned over. Still, rather relatively boring than absolutely in a crash.

Installed a Zero Gravity Sport Touring windscreen. They look better in person than in pictures. The reduction in wind buffeting was worth every penny.

Replaced the front brake with a full sized leaver, so now I have shorty length on clutch and full size brake

Also bought a polishing pad to fit my drill and plan to give it a full clay and polish tonight.

Swapped out those ugly opaque clear nylon fairing washers for some sleek black nylon washers. Replace the zinc plated steel sprocket carrier washers for black Stainless steel. Now I have to find some black dome nuts the finish the job.
