Hello Everyone

Hello everyone. Nice to join you. I have a very quick 07 EX250F that I run on the track dueling with the youngsters. I am 61yo going on 8yo. I ride with the youngsters as they always have something to teach me that I can relate to my big bikes. I run all my bikes regularly on the race track participating in track days. I try to be on the track 2 times per month all summer long from May till October. I ride regularly at Road America and Blackhawk Farms raceways. I have been reading this forum for some time now and finally decided to join.

Another track junkie, yay!!!

Greetings & Salutaions!

I try to get out every other weekend as well. Except for this year, I've been doing about 40-days at track per year with 7 race-weekends thrown in. Mostly Thunderhill, Sears Point Sonoma and Laguna Seca. Did weekend at Willow Springs in SoCal earlier this year. My old favourite from auto-racing days. Kinda boring on ninjette really, looking for something at Streets of Willow Springs course.

Thanks for the shout out. The older I get the more I run my 250. The liter bikes wear me out in the morning sessions and then I turn to the 250 to finish out my day. Beside the the young kids I duel with wear themselves out in the morning and I have an easier time keeping up with them in the afternoon. Ha Ha Ha. I am not much of a relaxation rider. I could not imagine owning a sport bike and not going to the track. God bless the folks that ride nice and easy on the road for rest and relaxation. I never learned how to do that. I try but with in 5 minutes I am breaking every traffic law written. Hence track day participation.

Hahhaha!!!! I used to ride by CBR600RR much more on streets. I'm surprised I've never gotten speed-ticket ever on streets. Not sure how that worked out as I'm over limit before 1st block.

But after getting on track with 250, it's so much fun, I hardly ride bigger bikes any more. Even on streets. CA roads are horrible. Pounds you black & blue with all potholes and poorly-applied patches everywhere! I have 2nd 250 for commuting and it absorbs bumps much better than CBR.
