My new 2012 candy green ninjette!!!

First off my name is Justin. This is a amazing forum and Alex does a great job. So I bought my bike about a month ago and since then the things I have done to it are fender Eliminator, delkevic exhaust, hid projector headlights, removed snorkel and shim the Carb needles. My future plans are some leds and a rear seat cowl. Here are some pics of how she looks. Hope you all enjoy

Me the day that I got it home. No I didn't ride with no gear :-)

Nice, I'm a fan of solid colors without all of the graphics/art work.

Man, that's almost exactly how I'd want my Candy Green to look. Did you make those projector headlights yourself or buy it somewhere?

Thanks for all the comments everyone. I made them myself with two old BMW projectors I had laying around. I made the shrouds and bezzels by cutting up 2 Walmart toilet cleaner containers :-)

Rofl that's a good idea, worked beautfully. Definately gonna have to do this when I get mine. Last time I did angel eye's on a car, the biggest pita was getting the housing apart.

I hear ya. There were many thermous mugs I wanted to use but they were 16 dollars a piece. So the toilet scrubber can was 6 dollars. So much cheaper then the mugs. Plus they came out great. The hardest part is seperating the headlight assembly.

Nice to meet you to Justin. Sorry to hear about your bike. If you lived around here I could probably fix up your fairings and repaint it for you. I'm pretty good at working with plastics. I don't know if you are interested in trying to paint the bike yourself but my paint suppliers here can mix up paint in spray paint cans for people. Of course on the new green you will probably have a gold or silver base coat then the candy green die coat to put on top of the base. After that shoot the clear and your good to go. So it would be 3 spray paint cans which would probably cost you 50 dollars. If you do your research it wouldn't be that hard to fix and much cheaper than buying new plastics.

How does that exhaust sound? I have been thinking about getting it for mine but wasn't sure how it would sound. Looks great on there. Also, was the headlight custom or did you pick it up somewhere?

I love the sound of the exhaust. But its loud. I like loud. I like for cars to know I'm beside them. I have headphones in my helmet so I don't hear the exhaust to much. I got the exhaust cause I love the look of it. Its like a car exhaust. The headlights I built. No kit or product. Its my own custom job.

My awesome girl friend bought me a rear seat cowl for my birth day. I love it!!

I decided to make new headlights with homemade demon eyes.

What does everyone think?

Holy ish! Those headlights are the ish!
Any chance you'll post a DIY thread on how to accomplish what you've done to your lights?
...red demon eyes for my devilishly red ninjette...mmm...that'd be a sight to see.

paint the thing that pops up in front of the HID bulb the color that you want. That way it makes the projectors look like they're colored when the lights are off

I also placed leds around the inside part of the lenses of the projector and wired them up to a switch.
