Amazon Danmoto "sale" if you can wait
I realize this is in the wrong place, but I am too new to post in the FS section and I am in no way affiliated with DMO, in fact I can say my Carbon GP had heat damage in less than 3,000 miles. GP Extreme has been good so far. ANYWAY:
I checked both Carbon GP and GP Extreme and Conical and they were like 115, 130, and 98(!!) respectively. Normally 135, 167, and 120 (I think). The catch? Out of stock, so you'll have to wait. But at these prices and with winter no-riding season coming up for a lot of you I figured I'd throw this out there. I suspect it may be an error and not a sale proper so no guarantees they won't try to reverse the sale, but it's worth a shot! I say this because I see no such prices on their home page they sell directly from. Didn't; check ebay. Anway, happy loud piping! $98 Conical for 250R Mods/Admins: requesting move to proper section as I am not selling anything myself here. Last futzed with by Cat-Man; November 16th, 2014 at 06:28 PM. oh yea, that'll be nice on my 300. I've been wanting to replace my exhaust for aesthetic reasons ever since I lowsided it. That and get frame sliders...but the 300 doesn't really need those per se. I'm assuming the newgen 250 exhaust sizes are the same as the 300?

$1 more, but for the security to know it's designed to work. I think I may have found me a new exhaust
shame it isn't full but I'll find myself some headers down the line.

New Gen slip-ons will fit on the 300 but the exhaust hangar might not line up without some adjustment

the fairings take the hit in a lowside crash protecting everything else, frame sliders would put the internals at more risk.

I've heard a yoshi slip on and full area p system in person, I think my danmoto trioval sounds great. If all you have heard is over the speakers and not in person you just don't know.

I'm just talking about the one Sirref posted in particular. In effect, installing that slip-on is just straight-piping the bike.

I think the yoshi sounds better, not $215 dollars better. Subjectively, My GP Extreme sounds better than the GP Carbon did, makes sense as its a little longer and due to design less likely to have small leaks. I heard a hotbodies CF can once in person, it was a lot more awful than the danmoto and more expensive. Then again, I'd recommend to steer clear of CF cans unless you love muffler maintenance or don't ride many miles, or very hard. There is a crude baffle available (just ordered it actually). I have to say, to me, it doesn't sound like a straight pipe. It has fiberglass, and you can hear it. Riding headers, or even a straight pipe has a LOT more harsh high end stuff going on. It doesn't help that a lot of people who install danmotos don't order the muffler gasket or probably use RTV even (guilty myself at the moment, working on it...). As to Sireffs "Highway man" choice, I wasn't going to comment, but..... My original thoughts were "so hes going the harley route". I don't think it matches with the bike aesthetically or philosophically, but, hey its his bike. If he starts asking about ape hangers I'll get concerned.
