Brakes and rims / wheelsets

Ok guys, you have helped me turn my 2012 ninjette 250R into a little road demon. Now I need a little advice. I do not want a bigger bike so please dont say get bigger. wont happen. I have too much invested and love the little 250. problem I have after K&N slipon filters, Slip on exhaust, bigger carbs, Dynojet stage 3 kit is >sprocket size, ( no room for 5th or 6th gear) wheel sets that may be lighter without breaking the bank, and someway to slow her down, stock brakes really suck. Brembo? Diff size sprockets? Any advice? Thank you for all your previous wiring and carb help. Damn well wouldnt know it is a 250 after all the stuff done compared even to my fellow rider 250 FI's my little girl walks away from them. 650's eat me in the straights but when we hit the mountain turns, lol, IM GONE. [ATTACH][/ATTACH] EDIT, I ask about the rims because a hit and run nailed my ride, front rim bent and from what I can find, front rims are $600 now, thought there might be cheaper lighter easier to clean ones available by now.
