It's easier to intimidate your prey opponents once you've established dominance. Just pregame for the takedown, hombre

I got it like 5 years ago, it's awesome but not very compatible with my maxima. Some of the stats don't work and the fuel consumption is way off but it has worked perfect with other cars. The mpg and GPH feature really help me get better mileage

Have you calibrated the fuel measurement to work with the new car? The first tank might be way off, but as you adjust the percentage up/down on the fillup, shouldn't it get very close to accurate? On my MZ3, the percentage is usually about 24% upwards, while on my wife's car, it's usually around 2% upwards.

Yea my maxima has like a 33% error and so when I fillup I just always have that huge error. So far it's been the only car I've used it on to have such an insane error. It compensates fine but it feeds into the whole incompatible idea. The LOD (%hp) doesn't work and when I check and clear codes I have to rev the engine before I press the next button

But once you calibrate it once, it's no longer in error, right?

Yes, the LOD seems to work for some cars and not others. It's probably a Nissan-wide thing.

Well it saves the error for the next fillup but I'm alway entering a 30% error and adjusting a couple decimals. I mean with the error it adjusts most of the values to be correct but it just seems odd that it is so off and doesn't "just work"

By calibrate do you mean enter in the engine size?

No, I mean what it sounds like you're doing already. When you fillup, if the gas pump tells you it was 13.6 gallons, and your scangauge says it as 15.4 or whatever, when you hit the fillup button on the scangauge, you hit the up/down button until it shows 13.6, and then hit save. It should then save that same error for next time, so you should only have to adjust it a percent or two up or down from that point forward. In other words, you should never again see a 30% error between what it says your mileage was, and what your actual mileage was.

That initial calibration doesn't mean that it's not working, or is somehow more error-prone. It really is just calibrating what the sensors are saying how much gas is used by each injector each time, and what the actual amount is over time.

Ah yea I do that. I think what was most disappointing was the LOD gauge. It was just cool to see what percent hp I was using. Now if I turn it on idle says 20% and when I accelerate it goes down and then goes up, just weird. It worked on my 96 maxima but not my 00.

I experienced another problem with it today while using cruise control. You'll notice when you release the gas at high spew it will drop to 0 GPH and 9999 mpg (no gas being used). While using cruise control today after 1/2 an hour it started doing that but with the gas pedal depressed (12 tps approx).

Annoying

Makes me want to get a new car that can will work with it lol
