Jezebel's First Bath (2008 Ninja 250 CPB)

I've had her for just over a month now, and she was diiiirty when I got her. Me lowsiding her right didn't help matters (so please, let's just ignore the jerry-rigged turn signal monstrosity.. I know, I know. I bought flush mounts and mirror integrated signals, which is why the mcgyver job has to stay on until they arrive). Anyway - mods wise: lowering toyz handlebar raisers and lowering links, two brother's exhaust. I have a huge list of things I want to do to her, starting with a bath!

This is Jezebel with Black Betty - they're waiting to have a bath together.

Getting her all soapied up..

rinsing her down..

she's all clean!

a kiss for my girl.

Now if only some of the scuffs that she came with would have come off (the guy who sold her to me said it was just dirt that needed scrubbing). Looks like I'll need some scratch doctor - or does anyone have something else they recommend?

Lol, yeah, I look like a storm trooper, but we had just finished riding and I wasn't washing her at my place so I had no shoes to change into!

those boots saved my feet.

I almost bought crappy highheeled ones with little protection, but the guy teaching my motorcycle store walked into the shop I was in just as I was trying them on - and literally ripped them out of my hand. I thanked him when I saw him after my crash.

You need to blow this up to poster size. That is great photography. I love the reflection off the water.

Thanks - it's a particular technique, it's called High Dynamic Range - you combine 3 shots, exposed at different brackets, to get all the shadows.

If only it didn't have that monstrous turn signal.

Nice use of HDR, jezebel, seen a lot of people overdoing it in the past few years and it just looks ridiculous and takes me out of the shot. Nicely subdued on your photo.

Thanks- and I need to reshoot when I've fixed her light. I'll be doing the windshield, levers, bar ends, mirror turn sigs, flush mounts, fender chop and brake modulator all in a weekend so when that's dine she'll be ready for her closeup.

Too much clothing in the last one for it to be truly poster-worthy.

Lol- but if i had taken the stereotypical trashy shot, I'd be 'that girl'. :P

I'm going to reshoot it once I mod her up - fender chop, turn signals et al.

That is one sweet shot! Talk about motorcycle pron lol. Dont worry bout the scratches or the low side too much, Small little things like that give a bike character imho.
