I thought there were a few PA riders on the site; have you met up with any of them in person yet?

Williamsport huh? Nice I grew up in Liberty about a half hour north. I live in Allentown, PA now but if I am back up there I will definitely get a hold of you.

Liberty
I actually work on the wind turbines we just built in Liberty. Wonderful roads out here, and I can't wait for a full season up here next year.

Oh ok yeah I can see about 20 windmills from my parents don't really like how they look kind of ruins the natural beauty of the area. Yeah there are some nice roads I like going on route 287 and 414.

Coming up from Long island...Williamsport is just a little bit far for me (214 mi) but...if you wanted to meet up in Deposit NY off RT17....I can promise miles of twisties thru Catskills....but...I never rode much in PA so I'd like to see what' there too.
How far are you from Deposit ? I'm like 150 miles but I make the trip a few times a year because it's absolutely worth the ride....yeah...I'm ready....saturday if you wanna go. |

I am sorry you dont like them and I hope to have a positive effect on our community through the 25 year project. Please feel free to stop in if you have any questions or if your family would like a tour, I am sure we can set that up in the comming months.
Deposit, Ny is only 2.5 hours away, although I may be heading up to Wallkill, NY at some point to hit up European Cycle Services during one of thier open houses. Lets see if we can get a weekend ride in sometime next year early on, and maybe get a few more involved. |

I'd like to see more of the people get involved.
Country roads are perfect for these bikes...but you got to go to the roads, they aint comin to you. Not to suggest that urban riders are not good riders but...all the time...I see guys on supersports blast down the parkway at well over 100 and at the few gentle turns we have the brake lights go on. Yeah...I'd like to get into PA a bit more. |
