[visordown.com] - First look Furygan Furywarm 2W review
Spring may be just around the corner but it's still pretty nippy in the mornings and evenings. Furygan's Fury thermal undergarments should prove just the ticket to help keep me warm. I've recently been covering quite a few motorway miles on my commute to work. And whilst a sweatshirt under my jacket is better than nothing, it's not an ideal solution when body heat is constantly losing the battle against a constant barrage of cold wind. Step forward Furygans Furywarm 2W range. It consists of several face and neckwarmers, three long-sleeve tops and and a pair of undertrousers. The 2W stands for warm and windproof. Thermolite fabric construction provides lightweight insulation which keeps you warm without having to contend with layers of bulky clothing. I've just got my hands on the Pull Fury 2W top which features a quarter length shoulder zip from the neck. This makes it easy to get on but at the same time keeps any wind out the traditional zip centre line. Sounding like something the morning after a strong curry, the Pant Fury 2W feature a front fly zip and foot straps to stop them sliding up your leg. Both the top and trousers come with their own bag to help store them away neatly. Like the 2W undergarments themselves, the bags are breathable too, so should help keep both tops and bottoms smelling fresh for longer. I'm really impressed with the quality of both items with not a loose thread to be found anywhere. Some nice detailing includes red double stitching and panther logo sewn onto the back of the top and also on the pant's knees, with a branded elastic waistband too. A recent 4 hour ride in cold foggy conditions proved them to excel, keeping me warmer on the bike than I've been in a long time. And now I've tried them out I could genuinely not do without them. Furygan Pull Fury 2W top costs £69.99 Furygan Pant Fury 2W costs £59.99 Find out more here.
