[visordown.com] - Hernandez to miss first 2015 MotoGP test

COLUMBIAN Yonny Hernandez will not participate in the first MotoGP test of 2015 for Pramac Ducati due to a shoulder injury.

The first MotoGP test is at Sepang from February 4th – 7th, but Hernandez was involved in a crash during a dirt track training session from which he sustained left shoulder dislocation and microfractures, but fortunately no damage to ligaments.

Recovery time is estimated to be around three weeks and therefore the Pramac Ducati rider should be fit for the second test in Malaysia next month from February 23rd – 26th. Until then, official Ducati test-rider Michele Pirro will replace Hernandez.
