Smaller amber bulbs for flushmount signals?

So I got these flushmount turn signals (detailed here: https://www.ninjette.org/forums/blog.php?b=8355) and they don't come with amber bulbs. So I went to my local auto parts store and got the closest thing I could get to amber versions of the bulbs (1156A). However, these bulbs are too big for the flushmounts.

Anyone know where I can get smaller amber bulbs that fit? I guess orange LEDs can work too, but I'd prefer not to pay LED prices.

Is it the globe that's too big?

For my Lockhart Philips flushmounts, I found these bulbs fit because they have a smaller globe. Price might be a bit high compared to other sites, but gives you a start.

Small amber LEDs with 1156 base, something similar to the switchbacks I run in mine, look on eBay, you'll find them.

That's why I said it's a start. You may also need to know if the pins on the sides are aligned or offset.

He's the single filament bulb: http://www.chaparral-racing.com/prod...l122-9600.aspx
