Anyone interested in a long term review of the Ogio No Drag backpack?
I have been wanting to do a review of it for a while but I keep putting off. Give me some motivation to do it! I have had the bag for well over a year and I have been going to school the entire time so it has a ton of hours/wears on it.

Go for it. I'm wondering if it should be called the Ogio "What a Drag Because I Can't Fit Anything In It." Also, thanks in advance for crash testing it for the review.

Hey, I spent $100 reviewing the Icon Stryker Field Armor (got my money back after I returned them, but still had to pay shipping) Then I had to pay shipping again to have the Icon Field Armor (the old ones that everybody loves) shipped back to me again!
*tough guy voice* What you got?

I just kept meaning to do it and wanted to see if there was anyone who wanted to see it so I would stop putting it off. I will write it up as soon as I finish my essay. I started doing it and felt too guilty about putting off this 8 page essay I only have 3 pages done of. |

I'm not sure what you mean exactly. You doing your own review of yours or adding this for contrast to mine? Either way I don't mind at all. It was actually something I was curious about when deciding to get this one and I wanted more info so it sounds great.

I just didn't want to be rude and hijack your thread so thought to ask for permission first. I'll post up my review when I get home from work.

Yeah do it man, do it now! I am a student as well, does it have room for two 1000 page books, a laptop, a binder, and a 5 subject notebook. Thats a lot of crap I know but engineering requires me to carry all that crap around. Will it still have room for a water bottle and some other things after being jammed with all of that? Thanks for your help

Yeah pretty insane right? Lets see... I got thermodynamics, component design, statistics and experimental design, Heat transfer, and dynamics. My back definitely doesn't enjoy it and my commute is 40 miles one way. I mostly only take just one book (professors actually make us use the books in class which sucks) a notebook, my laptop, and a binder. Actually you just reminded me, I think kriega's r25 converts to a tail bag I'll have to go check that out.

I did a review of the US-20 somewhere on here. Search for it. Let me know if you want me to stuff it with anything to see if it'll fit or how it feels ergonomically. I can even do a quick ichat/video conference thingy if that helps you decide. It was expensive so when I got it, I really took a chance that it'd fit everything I needed it to.

Yea so far the most I have put in there are papers + a 3lb tabletpc. It fits quite a bit and it does get quite heavy. I dont think I would walk around campus with it casually but it definitely does the job to get from point A to B. If you ever used a timbuk2 messenger bag, it feels like that. Add a padded shoulder pad and it's not too bad.
Edit: I just noticed we hijacked your thread. My apologies. Last futzed with by setasai; April 9th, 2011 at 11:07 PM. Reason: whoopsie |

I probably already freak out most people on campus when I walk around with my red and white alpinestars jacket and riding pants lol, but yeah I don't need it to be too cumbersome.

For me, I'm a mech. eng. and I carry a 13" laptop, 3 folders (hw, notes, extra paperwork) and that's about it. I organize all my papers at home later so it is less cumbersome than carrying 3 or 4 binders for an entire day. |
