I took off the white vinyl graphics from my '09 SE. I just used a hair dryer. The decals came off and didn't leave any residue behind.

i also used a hair dryer....mine had been stuck on there for about a year or more so they didn't want to come off super easy....i heated about a 6 inch area and started pulling it off...the parts that didn't want to come off as easily, i sprayed WD40 under the edge to help loosen the adhesive....keep the dryer on low or else it will just melt and rip apart when you try to pull it off.....good luck

Just so you know the Kawasaki on the tank is under the clear cut, don't try to remove them.
