1967 honda 305 scrambler

First, no i didnt sell the ninja. The bike is actually my fathers, he got it restored a couple weeks after i bought my 250 last year. It didnt run for 20 years and has 7300 miles on it. Well he drove it 2 times last year, hasnt even moved it this year. So i was able to pursued him into letting me bring it to my house (nicer riding area, not around the city). He also has to move his 1970.5 camaro out of the garage to take the bike out, which was also a hastle for him. Needless to say, it needed to get romped on otherwise it would sit for another 20 years. Hopefully i can get him to go on some rides near me soon.

Either way, i just rode it home, and my god im glad i didnt grow up back them. people complain about being uncomfortable on the 250, this thing vibrated like a harley ( single cylinder i think). Everything was just so strange, like i had to actually try to shift (were spoiled with our transmission i guess), drum brakes were not fun at all. It only had a speedometer, no tach or anything, no kill switch, so you had to always be giving it blips at stops or it would idle down and then just die. No blinkers, just a totally different feeling. Ill try to snap some pics, i apparently looked hilarious with my gear on riding the bike home.

Dont worry jiggles, even when i get the ninja 1000 in the spring i wont part with the 250. And yes, thats 3 250s in my garage, one is my girlfriends (blue), one is a friends (green)

Hope you can get a 2012 or 2011 model, IMO the 2013's look terrible. I don't like the silver on my 2012 (really wanted a 2011 but couldn't find one

) but at least it doesn't look this bad

The black on these bikes is just so out of place

i actually LOVE that white black combo on the 2013, but my dealer has a red black 11 on the floor still, im gonna see if he can "hold" it for me. No reason for me to buy right now and pay to insure a bike over the winter when i cant ride it. Gotta buy the akrapovic exhaust and both corbin seats for it too, plan on taking it to kansas in may, were test riding it this weekend. I need to make sure the lady is comfy on it

I think they did a much better job with the 650
