just dropped the front forks 3mm

Well, after the 5'3" wife continued to express her lack of confidence in being able to reach the ground on the 250ninja as she gets ready to complete the MSF rider course this afternoon...I decided to go out and loosen up the pinch bolts on the forks and get the bike as low as possible, and managed to get it dropped about 3mm or so. Every little bit helps. Now the top of the forks are topped out against the handlebar mounting surface. I already got the pirelli MT-75's with the 120 rear, so things had already gotten a bit lower for her.

I guess those Kawasaki Eliminator 125's she's riding at the course have spoiled her. Although she admits they don't look as cool!

My girl is just under 5'3", when learning she was very comfortable after I fitted MT75s and cut down her seat. After she got about a year of riding under her belt she went back to the stock seat. You can cut a lot of foam out of the seat and still have it be fairly comfortable.

am wondering if this has helped her first of all, and secondly, has the change changed the way the bike handles drastically or not?
