Stunt/Crash Cage?

Hey guys, whats up?

Just wondering if anybody could help me find a Crash Cage for our Ninja's?

I want this because i parked my bike at the mall one day (Day after Christmas actually) and when i came back to leave for work, it was knocked down and the fairing was badly cracked.

Long story short, the guy left a phone number (Really lucky) and it ended up being 2100 dollars of damage (His insurance payed for it )

Now im looking for a nice, snug, great looking cage to protect the fairings. (Sliders arnt effective from what ive read)

Something like These:

Those look good, but have caused some others on bigger bikes to crash in a lean - at least I think I remember seeing one crash on Youtube that was a result of crash cage.

Judging by the fact that the ninja 250 in that picture has a smashed in tank, and grippy stuff on the nose for stunting, I'm guessing that the cage is custom made and if you want one, you're going to have to do some custom fab work. Not to mention that bike has holes cut in the fairing for the cage. Kinda defeats the purpose of using a cage to keep the plastics looking nice.

You probably won't find one, since two fifties are not that powerful enough for stunting. Sure, they can be used, but most use 600s.

I understand, but it's a 250...won't it ruin the bike more quickly?

I'd say it's custom.

if the only thing you are worried about is 0mph accidental tip-overs, get sliders and swingarm sliders.

sliders arent effective at preventing damage during a crash. drop is not crash.

the 250 cage seen above that looks like a stunt bike is, from what i heard she live out in edmonton area, and the man/ company that made it is from cali i belive ill find out the name again, but hes hard 2 get ahold of and his only website is on myspace. but im going 2 be building a few for my bikes shorty when i do ill post up a diy for it, and as for not welding you could have all your measurements taken and have your plans drawn up so that you can take it to a local welder/machine shop so they can make it for you..
