2004 Kawasaki Ninja ZZR250 - bogging
okay round 2! I've been trying to diagnose some issues with respect to my bike. Initially it would only start on choke, and if I took it off choke, it would die, or idle super high.
I had taken out the carb and cleaned it and did a rough bench sync. It's now able to maintain idle without the choke, but when I pull on the throttle it'll bog and die. I can pull very slightly which gives a delayed reaction but it takes time to get there. Any idea what the issue might be? |

You need deeper carb disassembly and restoration. As noted by slight improvement after 2nd cleaning. Bike ran perfectly fine when leaving showroom floor. Will do so again when carbs are restored back to factory-fresh OEM clean.
Do search here for "clean carbs ducatiman" for procedures and photos to get carbs back to factory-fresh OEM clean. |
