My mods and what i got for my $$

I gotta start by saying when I got on this board I thought a wrench was something you did to your back and a screwdriver was something you drank.
There are too many guys to thank for their help so I’ll just say thanks to y’all.

FRONT SPROCKET SWAP $18
Much more useable 1st and 2nd gears
WASHERS IN THE FORK TOPS $1.50
Much improved nose dive
REAR SPROCKET SWAP $40
Much improved cruising @ 75+
GIANT GUSTAFFSON SHIELD $150
Absolutely no wind fatigue now
COMAGINATION HEAD+TAIL KITS $110 ?
Cagers definitely see me coming up thru the center

PERFORMANCE + and -
Cruising 80-90 indicated is effortless but unsafe to pass into oncoming.
1st and 2nd are much more useable
Can’t make 100 mph anymore, anywhere,anytime.
(thinking about scratching out my red line because I’ll never reach it again)
For a weekend fast highway cruiser, the oversize shield was the best money spent. I cant say enough about NOT being beaten up by the wind. 350 mile rides on the FZ6 were strenuous…on Ninjette with shield…effortless.
So far, mpg on highway is not changed, mpg in traffic is lower.

Hi Eddie! We've got a kick-ass "mods" thread going on right here, where a whole bunch of folks have listed out the neat things they've done to their ninjettes.
