fixed other issues currently no spark

bike has a fully charged battery,is getting air and fuel and carbs are in working condition, the bike worked pretty well a week ago just had issues starting and wont start at all, old owner did wire in a new ignition and its what im currently using, any idea as for where to start checking now that theres no spark?

When you say the previous owner wired in a new ignition, do you mean ignition unit or ignition switch?

ignition switch, it appears to have the resistor needed for modification as well

OK, I was wondering if maybe he did a bad job soldering in the resistor, and the connection broke.

im going to do a test and probably replace that tomorrow to start i doubt the coils would both simultaneously go bad out of nowhere

random added note i just took a relook at said ignition and w2anted clarification, there is no resistor directly connected to the grey wire, it is laid out sideways on the board, is the 100ohm wire supposed to be directly spliced to the grey one?
