ok this is getting a bit ridiculous. to those of you who think you can't wheelie a 250, here's a 125 SCOOTER being wheelied. proof that it's not the bike, it's the rider.

Today was the second time.
Somebody musta heard me having a bit of fun and hitting my rev limiter because at the next stop they did everything in their power to convey to me that I should do a wheelie. I shook my head like I was scolding school children and the look on their face was priceless, so dissappointed lmao.

Ive wheelied mine from a sitting position, not using passenger pegs. Georgiahooligan can vouch for it, he's seen me do it. Stock bike, and i did it from a rolling start. 1st gear just enough to ride it, pull clutch while rolling, rev it up and dump it..if its cold, it will hook up and put the front up at nose level.
The problem i have is that after a few, it seems like the clutch gets too warm, and it stops hooking up like it needs to for a proper wheelie. It was all fun until the cops showed up. Ive got it on video of me doing a short little wheelie hop behind the cops as we were leaving... |

Nothing wrong with a little responsible parking lot wheelie practice, but beware cause it's likely you're gonna bust something eventually. It's no fun wheeling the Ninja in stock gearing cause you have to wait all day for the RPM to get to 10K before you dump the clutch. Seems like it takes a full second. On a 6 You just snap it back a bit and hold it at a bit less than you snapped it too after the slip and it sits right there on one wheel every time perfect on stock gearing. Keeping it there for 5 miles is the scary part that I can't do. Just be sure to cover the rear break to prevent flip over and keep your arms loose to prevent tank slap. The first few comedowns will be hard but you'll learn to use the gas easy to come down on the front wheel and smooth out the landings once you learn to predict where it pops up when you slip the clutch. With the ninja, you actually have to want to wheelie too, so you'll want to LEAN BACK a bit. Seriously.

Eh, too much work for a wheelie. Thus the reason I will never go up on the ninjette, it's just not that kind of bike.
The RC, on the other hand, had no problem getting altitude if you weren't careful
