Black Friday!

It's that crazy day for my American friends!
I just want world peace (and a Santa smiley!) but what is on your Christmas list for your Ninjette?
Be extra careful out there today; all roads and parking lots near shopping malls will be filled with stupid, crazy, aggressive nutbars driving cars & trucks and you will always seem to be between them and where they want to go!

I, like many Americans I know, refuse to take part in the madness.

Saving a few bucks isn't worth what you have to go through. In my world the Thanksgiving holiday is about exactly what the name says... peace, reflection and gratitude.

Black Friday deals are usually a big scam which should be illegal. read the fine print in the ads and you will find a limited supply at the store with no "rain checks". I seen an ad that said only 2 available per store at that price. be smart and shop online.

What I want to know is: What is on your Christmas wish list for you and your Ninja?
And to make sure you take extra care if you do go out because drivers are like mad dogs today!

That may be part of the reason for the name given to that day:

all I want for christmas is track supplies:

canopy
extra bars/rearset pegs
new race suit
boots that aren't shredded (gotta stop dragging my toes and ankles on the ground)
outdoor portable speakers
track fairings
head unit for my truck (so I can use my ipod with it)
springs and emulators for my forks, and a spring for my gsxr shock

and an engine for my gsxr

you know, the basics

Well on my Christmas list for me and my Ninjette I have some warmer riding gear, a ramp for my trailer, some saddlebags, a new helmet, some tools, and maybe a few other things.

Finally got that TV I wanted. An employee at the Wal-Mart told me they were all out by the time I got to the electronics department. Luckily as I turned around I saw some ladies with one. I was like hey, there's my TV. So I grabbed it. Even found out I got on the YouTubes. Best Black Friday ever!

I, also, am one of those who refuse to participate in the madness.

If I do any shopping on black Friday, it's online.

As for the Christmas for me and the ninjette, Nice leather cold weather gloves and a leather jacket with a thick zip out lining. Ordered today. On sale and got a 20% discount on top of the sale price.

my list? a new torque wrench. Clicky adjustable type. I want a 3/8 and 1/4 drive.

I need some new dress socks. Various colors of argyle. Brown, black, gray, idk. I'm boring. more about spending time with the fam than getting stuff.

I want to get my car some rims. Maybe some bixenons, but that's to me from me...

Late to the thread, but the only thing I typically buy in person are groceries. I have a whole spreadsheet of stuff to buy (and price comparisons and stuff) for the ninjette, but none of it is scheduled around any holidays.

..I did end up ordering steel braided lines for the ninjette and the CBR on Friday though.

Maybe I'll come up with enough posts before the end of winter to list the one I can't seem to sell. Lurking on forums has downsides it seems.

I went and bought a new fake tree, no madness. I was super close to buying a crossbow since they had some pretty sweet deals at dicks, but alas I figured I should save my sheckles.

Then my power supply blew on my computer and I went to best buy at like 8pm, again, no problems. They even had one of the ps4 for 300 deals still there, I had to run out of the store before I convinced myself I needed it.

Ninjette has been finished for a while, the ducati needs track bodywork and a rear stand.

Well, I have all I really need.

Wish list on the realistic side?
Money for track days
Money for tires

Things I'd like but are too expensive?
Leatt neck brace
A REALLY GOOD torque wrench

The thing that would make me giggle like a little kid and think "I'm not worthy!"?
A Kendon ride-up trailer

I prefer Cyber Monday. Tho my sister kidnaped me and dragged me to Kohl's on Thanksgiving.... It was scary but i enjoyed the time with my sister as i don't get to see her much.
