Question Fork Seal Size Clarification

Okay I have been googling the freak out of this one, can't find any official information.

On the pre gen wiki they recommend the K&L fork seal, but dont give a part number or dimensions. So I have been looking around and there a couple other brands that come up: pyramid (I already have personal trust issues with anything associated with pyramids) all balls, kn, and some others. Some of these other brands have some bad reviews, I had recently installed some "leak proof" and already got a leak, my mechanic said I should try something different this time. I like the price of the K&L's and that they are recommended by the wiki, but for some reason the K&L brand is not linked up with ex250f. Or any ninja from what I can tell, so anyways...

I'm 99% sure that the size I need is 36-48-11, but I'm looking for some solid proof, or some kind source. Those are just the numbers I found on a couple different threads from a couple different forums.

The other size that comes up is 36-48-10.5 it doesn't come up very often but it does. And I'm pretty sure it's not for the ex250f.

What do I really need? Why are these numbers so illusive? Looking to order asap, so if someone could get me some official numbers that would be great.

Also If someone can give me a source or something so I message whoever runs the pre-gen wiki to add that on there or something because this is ridiculous. I shouldn't have to go to a official K&L dealer, to figure this out, or call one, I already would have if If I had started researching earlier but o well

Thanks
Colton
PEACE!

Like any other hydraulic seal, these numbers are the diameters (ID and OD) and the width, in mm.

This seal is Kawasaki part 92049-1226

The dimensions are 36 x 48 x 11 mm

http://www.ronayers.com/Front-ForkF6F-C57751.aspx

According to this catalog (page 330):

http://www.klsupply.com/Home/2013KLS...QuickView.aspx

This is K&L part 15-2566

According to this table:

http://www.marshalldistributing.com/...ml#/391/zoomed

.......Vesrah part VAR3603

An example:

Now, if you have replaced seals and they leak again, don't blame the seal, if installed carefully, they all work alike and there are no bad and good while they are new (although the material the bad ones are made of become hard sooner).
Instead, check and correct the surface and roundness of the tubes:
