FS: 2007 SV650 Fully Faired "S" Model
Great second bike. Asking $4000 will consider trades for late model middle-weight sportbikes. [And yes, the bike is out in the rain in the photo, I will ride through the wet, but I took the cover off for this photo yesterday - You can see the cover on the ground behind the rear tire!] The other photos are from the day I brought the bike home prior to replacing the tires and some other mods.
I bought the bike in May of this year as a 250r upgrade and everything about it is perfect except the riding position. I've put 3000 miles on it so I know a fair bit about the bike. It's got 7500 miles on it and is in very good condition. I still commute on in when temps are above 45 so the mileage will go up. Bike rides great and I wouldn't hesitate to jump on it and ride cross country this weekend. Here are some of the mods done: Viper Slip On Exhaust Suzuki OEM Lowered Seat - Brings the seat height down about .5". Fender Eliminator Integrated Rear Signals Integrated GSXR Mirrors Flush Mount Front Signals Adjustable shorty Levers Oil Changed Dec 9th Chain Adjusted and Lubed Dec 9th Chain and Sprockets replaced Dec '12 Brakes Flushed June 2012 New Tires (BT023) July 2012 Last futzed with by BlackNinja8; December 18th, 2012 at 03:49 PM. |

Also, can I test ride?[/QUOTE]
Hey Steve, Long story short, I have a degenerative hip and the riding position of the SV causes me problems after long stints. It's not supersport agressive, but definately a more pronounce lean than the 250. I also have 2.5" risers that I just took off the bike. They helped but didn't make enough difference for me. Otherwise the bike is awesome. Perfect blend of speed and grunt IMO. We can work out a test ride if you want to make your way up to my neck of the woods. Let me know. |

Umm...not sure how to answer that. I mean I don't need the money to pay for a surgery or anything but I'd like to get a bike with ergos that suit me better as soon as possible. If you are interested we can maybe work out a meetup.

Oh a new bike under the Christmas tree maybe? Let's talk later in the week. And here is another photo taken over the summer. Actually it was the day I picked up the bike. You can really get a sense of its size compared to the 250. Though the 250 is on the short end of a slight downhill slope...

You're killing me.
This is the perfect next bike for me, the price is right and you're only half an hour away. And I don't have the cash. |

Let know if you came up with the cash at some point. If it doesn't sell I'll ride it through winter and try again in the spring.

Cool.
Keep it out of the salt, okay? Here's what literally happened when I saw the thread: Me: "$#U@*()@!" Wife: "What?" Me: "Exactly the right next bike just came up for sale, locally. It's even the right price. And I don't have the money!" Wife: "Well, if you sell your current toy then you can go get it." Me: "Not enough and I'd need to move it first, but that'd be the plan." So I've got permission. I just need funds. Much can happen over the winter. We'll see. |

Lol...I don't ride in that kind of weather. Dumbest I'll do is ride on a morning like this morning. My windscreen was completely frosted over and my breath was frozen on the inside of my visor. Very poor visibility. My hands were numb and my core was pretty cold. My rev it ignition jacket doesnt do great in sub-freezing temps. Part of the reason I listed it for sale too...

I'm surprised this bike is still up for sale. If I lived nearby I'd buy it, strip it of all its upgrades and sell it again for the same price. BUY IT PEOPLE.

Thanks for the compliments. As long is the bike is in my hands I'm going to continue modding it. If it's warm enough this weekend I'm going to have the silver parts powder coated black (rearsets, pegs, etc.). I think it will look even better then. Don't be surprised if it is no longer for sale if that happens
