Holy crap! They've out done themselves...I'm optimistically assuming here, but, our stock ninjettes would certainly kick these beefed up bikes in the performance department right? (just looking for a way to retain pride in my 'jette lol)

in don't know much but what i have read on this forum about bikes but it seems to me the 180's alone would keep our ninjette's running faster, UNLESS they turbo'd or supercharged the engine ,which if you are gonna spend 3.5 k to make it look nice im sure they would spend 3.5 k to make it run nicer

pretty sure wherever those guys are from 600cc bikes are freaking super expensive to buy / import. So what I think they do is buy ninja 250's and just put 600cc parts and crazy mod them out. Still cheaper then buy a 600cc over there or something like that

true, the 600cc bikes cost between $21k-$29k here.(ZX6R has the lowest price)

So does the body kit have some kind of cover over the frame? Cause otherwise, that is most definitely not a ninja 250R frame.

Where can we get this kit, and how much?

I dont really care much about all the anodized bits...but there are a couple of things I really like.

The tank knee ridges are higher and more profiled than stock, and would be fantastic on the track, and the ability to run a true clip-on set would really be nice.

It is indeed our frame. Everything else is swapped from bigger bikes except the engine.

Looks sexier than most SS imo. Too bad it doesn't add hp.

Sorry, but that is NOT a ninja 250R frame.
This is a ninja 250R frame.

The frame in those pictures is a boxed in supersport like frame, not a tube frame like the 250R.....unless they put some kind of fake cover over it to look like a boxed in supersport frame.

Also...not one of those bikes has the original swing arm. So thats something else to consider.

There is some kind of cover on top of the kid sized frame to make it look beefy. You can tell it's a little Kawi engine and the rear frame doohickies are the same

a quick google and this poped up

"Spec :
Wheels + Disc : Yamaha R6 2008
Swing arm : Suzuki GSX600R 2008
Upside down Forks: Suzuki GSX600R 2008
Muffler : Suzuki GSX600R 2008 custom pipe/header by LENT automodified
Caliper front/rear: Tokico (original GSX600R)
Speedometer : Koso RX2
Windshield : Hot Bodies
Rear sprocket : AFAM gold
Chain : RK gold
Tires : Michelin Pilot Power front: 120/65x17
Michelin Pilot Power back: 180/55x17
Foot step : Kitaco
Bracket Muffler : Custom by LENT automodified
Body kit full set : Custom by LENT automodified
Cat : LENT automodified"

so yes it is the ninja 250 frame, you can tell from the "bikers" farkle
and the passenger pegs on the back.

everything else is custom.

It will not have the Pro-Arm single-sided swingarm and wheels or any of the Bikers farkles.

Yes. Of course. You can see the 250 frame where the passenger pegs attach.

Those were the specs for the yellow one. The one with undertail exhaust uses the same swingarm kit you can get from the US Sportisi distributor (sam). I think it's made for some Honda but they made a kit out of it for the 250.

there is just one big drawback... these fiberglass bodykits weight a truckload... and adding the epic big rear wheels causes quite a drop on the rear wheel power as well.

so this is purely farkle, looks sweet, but not great on the power department. id definitely keep stock farings, or my current naked farings which are small and quite light.

if i was living in the states i would definitely save up and buy a second hand 600cc+ before paying over a grand (for the kit + shipping) for the ninja 250 body kit.

here the options are more limited. big bikes even second hand cost a LOT (100% import tax) so official prices of all 600cc+ bikes are over double of what you pay for in the states. so even second hand bikes cost a lot because of that.

there are a lot of un-registered bikes around, but they are a hassle, cos you have to bribe cops to get fake registration papers, etc etc... lol

Looks pretty great. Why the heck does the gray one have 2 brake lines going to the right side caliper? Looks like they all have yamaha monobloc calipers and forks. The gray and red/white one both kept the oem blinkers too.

It looks like they took an r6 08 front cowl and got it to fit the ninjette on the gray and green ones. Not sure where the front end came from on the red/white one. The black/green one looks like they got all the parts from an r6, including the swing arm.

Same thing in India... Can you believe this guy wants 8000$ for a 2000 CBR919 rr? I mean it's a 12 year old bike, it's done 20k miles... How much could it be worth? I'm in half a mind of offering him 5k and seeing if he bites... dunno where I'll get the 5k from tho
