best tire combination for 08

what's the best tire replacement combination for 08 250r.

BT-090 140/70 rear **and** BT-016 110/70 front ??

i use 120/70 BT003 soft front & a 140/70 BT090 rear with good results

I think the BT-016 is a better tire than the bt003?

i really don't know much about them. i just run what the bridgestone man tells me to

i'm actually thinking about not running the superstock classes anymore and just doing the forumla races... which allows me to run slicks. assuming they have slicks in our sizes.

003 is definitely better tire for track but probably doesn't warm up as quickly on the street as the 16s. Other than that the 003s are a better tire overall. I'm waiting for the BT003 R/S to arrive (hopefully in early June) It's a more "streetable" version of the 003 (R/S = racing / street) and comes in sizing that correctly fits our rims. (110-70-17 front , 140-70-17 rear). They should have better tread life and more grip in the wet than the 003s, plus you wouldn't be mixing different tire models for front and rear, which might not be the best way to go.
