SoCal - My 09' SE 250R

PRICE REDUCED... YOU'RE KILLIN' ME

For Sale is my 2009 Special Edition Kawasaki Ninja 250R. The bike has been meticulously cared for and I am the only owner. I purchased the bike new in April 2010 with 3 miles on it and currently it has 12,300 miles. It is a "48 State" bike, meaning it doesn't have the typical CA emissions (purchased in MN), nor does it have any emissions as I have removed them. The bike has never been down and I have title in hand. I also will include with the sale all the stock parts that were removed.

As much as it pains me I will drop my price and entertain $3,500... feel free to make me an offer, if it's much lower please have the courtesy to offer via PM. Below are the modifications that have been added:

Michelin Power One Tires 150/60 Rear 110/70 Front
Vesrah JL Front Brake Pads
Spiegler Steel Braided Front Brake Line Kit
Customized AreaP/Dynojet Kit
K&N R-0990 Universal Rubber Filter
Uni Filter UP-104 5/8" Clamp-On Breather
Billet Emissions Block Off Plate
Monster Energy Black Fire Tank Pad
Luimoto Custom Matching Seat Covers

The only reason for sale is that I already have two other bikes in my garage. Serious inquires only please, and no low ballers... test rides only with M1 endorsement and cash in hand. Thank you for looking! I'm not really in any rush as I'm not making any payments or need the money, wifey just want's me down to 2 bikes...lol

If you are interested in my bike please either contact me through this post, or via a PM, or via e-mail at cazper.77@gmail.com. If you happen to know my phone number because there are plenty of you on here that do, feel free to call me. Thank you for looking at this posting and hopefully I will find a new home for her! I did post her on CL as well

I've realized that even if I ever do go to the track... (so expensive) I could still use the 636. As I mentioned if I can only have 2 bikes in the garage... I'd like to have a cruiser for longer rides.

If I part it out the side panels are yours again...

Thanks! I still love this bike and have put alot of work into it... will be very sad to see it go, but, I will still stick around here and having 2 different styles of bike will be enjoyable!

You could use the 636, but the 250 is cheaper to ride there and more fun! and STOP BEING OLD, NO CRUISERS FOR YOU!

Yay on the panels though

I'm not one to post about prices but would say you aren't getting interest because $4000 for a stock '09 is more than new leftover 2012s are going for in my area.

I can definitely appreciate that... however, here in SoCal stock 08's go for about $3600 and are progressively more expensive as they get newer. I haven't gotten any interest yet... granted I've only had it up for a few days... but I suppose even lowball offers would be something.

However, that being stated... I would appreciate lowball offers in a PM format.

I can vouch for Cazper when I say that I have NEVER seen anyone care for their bike like him. This guy gets off of it and immediately wipes it down. It takes him 45 minutes just to clean his chain because he's so meticulous. This bike is probably in better condition than a new showroom model.

Is your air filter the air box insert or like pod filters?

It's a pod filter... although my air box is missing it's filter so I was kinda planning on just leaving the K&N in the bike... if you have the stock filter I might be able to work something out

Well I have the stock filter but I have to run my airbox to race so I just need a drop in (cartridge) filter.

oh... well then mine won't help you because it's a pod filter... never could stand the clunky airbox... but I suppose it's a requirement for racing

I so wish it wasn't...... poor strangled bike.. ANYWAY no more off topic. Good luck with your sale Dustin; as I said before there is very likely no more well maintained 250 anywhere.

Thanks for the compliment... I don't check here often enough. No I haven't sold it yet... I'm in the process of returning the bike to "mostly" stock in an effort to lower the price for an easier sale.

If you have any questions I'd be glad to answer them either here, via PM or via text or phone call... just let me know!

Bump for a great looking bike, and for a seller who is in the same predicament as me. Its hard finding someone who appreciates the time and effort we've put into our babies. I really really don't want to put my bike back to stock.

When you decide to part out the mods, I call dibs on the plate mount and hugger!

How much?

I'm actually keeping the plate mount for the 636... the hugger however is for sale. I just haven't made a part out thread yet because I haven't gotten around to taking pictures of the stuff I took off. I paid almost $300 for the hugger... I'll let it go for $180 plus shipping

Yep. I was part of that same GB. With @wayanlam potentially opening up the Indonesian channel again, I really don't know what the heck I'm doing right now, but I am really tempted.

For one, it may not even fit on the 250F with 250J swingarm even though I raised it with shorted dogbones. Even so, I still want a swingarm cover piece. If it does fit, I want to paint it but CF is extra $$$ and that would be a waste. I'm conflicted!

I'm going to check with him first, but yours is a Sportisi V2 (my favorite).

Well, let me know... I don't think I could let it go for anything less than that. If you could find someone selling one that wasn't CF you could probably get it for less... but that's why it cost me so much was because of the CF.

Well I guess I'd hoped to have some interest... or at least some sort of low ball offers so that I could tell there was at least some interest. I'm starting to wish I hadn't started selling parts off of it because if I can't sell it and now I don't even have my aftermarket stuff... I'm gonna be pissed

I paid $2,700 for mine with 3k miles. Price might be a bit high. I'm in Florida which usually has a lil higher prices.
