Adjust clutch lever friction zone towards the bar

Any way of adjusting the friction zone further in towards the lever? I had the bike serviced at a new place yesterday & they moved the biting point out by about 1/2 inch or so.

If I adjust the cable closer to the lever on the bar end & further out at the clutch end will it bring the lever back in closer to the bar?

I don't want to cause it to slip or bind, but I don't like its current position.

(seriously considering pazzos if I cant fix it, but £75 (~$120) for a lever is a tad steep)

Yes, adjusting the slack by making them looser can move the point of engagement closer to the bar, just be careful to still give it enough room to completely engage/disengage upon clutch lever manipulation of course.

They look decent, for £20 a pair they're worth a shot.

wonder how long they'll take to arrive

I'm a big fan of the levers from 2Wheels. Mine took about two weeks too.

When I ordered from them, it took a month to get to me, and it was short a lever. They said they sent the second lever, but it's been another 2 months and I've yet to see a second lever, and now they won't even return my emails. Just FYI.

Make sure you tighten all the bolts a tiny bit as they tend to be a tiny bit loose. Also be careful when putting on the clutch lever. More than a few have broken the pin on the safety switch under the lever.
