Fork alignment

Question:
Will ~ 1mm variation between left and right fork height cause a problem (stability, head-shake, fork or bearing damage)?

Context:
I'm tracking down something that just doesn't feel right in my front end at speed, have ruled out just about everything, and am now looking at more fork alignment. It doesn't seem like much, but I've determined the L & R forks are off by 1mm (re-measured many times to verify results).

Note:
Sorry to post here, as this is actually for my CBR500r, and I don't know a better group of people. The Honda forum is largely a waste of time right now. I'm hoping that although it is not a Ninjette, it would be the same on most similar type bike.

You wouldn't feel a difference unless the forks themselves are twisted within the triples ie. top triple is facing differently from the lower.

Maybe some unnoticeable bearing wearing if that. Just prop the front up and loosen offending fork from clamps and tap top of forks. Rules that one out.

That's my plan, but have to wait on a new headstand. Long story short = the "jack-able" part of the engine (oil pan) is on the left side.... so bike wants to tip over. Nice engineering.
