Headlight alignment

My bike is finally close to done, but I've gone ahead and dug one more pothole for myself. There was some gunk/broken plastic inside my headlamp housing, so I tried to open it up, not realizing the screws I was turning were the alignment screws. Turns out the housing is (more or less) sealed shut.

So now I have a situation where all three alignment bolts have been randomly turned and I have no idea what the default "stock" setting is. Anyone have any experience with this or know what the correct default position is?

Figured this out myself. There are three bolt that run through the housing to the reflector where the lights are mounted. The top bolt is the vertical adjustment, the bottom two are essentially the horizontal adjustment. If you look through the back with the assembly off the bike, you can see the screws and watch the housing move back and forth. I used a power drill with a screw tip to put everything close to "center" and then looked through the front to confirm that the reflector wasn't badly tilted in any direction. Then put it back on the bike and adjusted the screws with the light shining against the wall.

Kbye.

IIRC, the manual tells you how far away to park from a wall before checking beam height measurements projected on said wall. Oh, and it gives you the measurements.
