Tech Questions
Hello, I am converting my bike to track and I have a few issues.
- Threaded bolt hole in front of engine with no bolt in it IMG_2429.jpg IMG_2428.jpg - New AP Exhaust rubbing on swing arm and about a millimeter gab between the header and flange. IMG_2425.jpg IMG_2426.jpg - Having trouble removing the carbs with the stock airbox. - Is there a rear shock install DIY? Help would be very much appreciated. Thanks

Missing bolt is a drain plug for the water pump. Replace it ASAP.
p/n# 132BB0610 BOLT-FLANGED-SMALL,6X & p/n# 92022-304 WASHER,PLAIN Flip the exhaust hanger bracket around (point the tip out). Loosen all exhaust bolts, make sure the exhaust header gaskets are seated properly, re-torque and check for leaks (tighten the header bolts first) |

yes, loosen all exhaust bolts slightly, wiggle all the components so they are in the position you want them in, then start tightening the exhaust system from front and work your way back. that's in the installation instructions that came with your AP exhaust, if you bought it new.
