Clutch Adjustment?

So I had to move my bike today and I alwyas park in first gear so I just hopped on and pulled the clutch and i noticed that it was resisting like the clutch wasnt being engaged the whole way. So basically the question is when I pull the clutch in gear should I be able to push the bike as if its in neutral?

If so should I tighten the clutch?

Yes you should be able to push it and I would say if the clutch functions correctly when your riding, then no adjustment is needed.

you're fine. mine does this too when its totally cold and I pull in the clutch. the plates don't separate the whole way. it's the same reason the bike lurches a bit when you first put it into gear. let go of the clutch. grab it again, then push like hell. it's a bit rough to get the plates to let go the first time when it's off and cold. or just put it in neutral if you have to move it.

Ok thanks, thats what I thought. I will have to check it out when it is warmed up and the clutch functions fine while riding so I was not overly concerned about it.

One thing when I start it in first gear it kinda pulls forward a little bit, is that the same reason as why it lurches when it is put in first?
