Wondering who has oil filters on sale now
I need to restock my oil filters, Fram CH6012. Last ones I bought were at WalMart before they quit carrying them for $3 each, bought 10 but have used them all up. A quick check of Amazon has them for almost $8 shipped and the vendors I've contacted so far won't combine shipping, wanting me to pay $50 to ship 10 filters. A bit exorbitant IMHO. Anyone have any leads to someone selling these by case quantities with reasonable shipping?

You can get KN401 filters from amazon for about 6.48 a pop. Order $25.00 worth or group with other items to make $25.00 and you get free shipping.

Just ordered 3 KN401 filters from Amazon myself.
For what its worth, I have been told to stay away from fram filters, by my guy who does occasional work on my bike (he is a licensed Kawasaki dealer and mechanic), and by some random dude on a 250 board.

I agree. I have never cut open a Fram motorcycle filter, but I have cut open Fram automotive filters and they are sub par IMO. Mainly in the construction of the bypass valve. For cheapy filter, even the Supertech or Purolator filters are light years ahead of Fram.
