The Ability to Edit For Sale threads?

I would like to be able to edit my original post in the for sale section. I don't see why it's not editable, or am I just missing something? I keep getting numerous PMs from people asking for things I have already sold since I cannot update the original post, and they fail to scroll down to read my updates.

Just a suggestion.

It's a site-wide setting, I'm afraid. It's currently set at 2 months, so users are free to edit their posts up through that point before they lock. At that point if any edits need to be made to specific posts, just PM me. It basically prevents people from waking up in a bad mood and deleting mass amounts of old posts without some type of throttle, and it comes in handy more often than you'd think.

For sale threads that last for months are the only places where it gets a little wonky, but the best solution may be to close the existing thread after 2 months and start a new one with what you have left anyway.

That makes sense. I'll make a new thread.
