Any cheap LED tail lights out there?

Hi guys, i'm new to this forum. I recently purchased a hotbodies undertail and i'm in the process of trimming the glove box. I've heard complaints about the tail light being a little too dim with the hotbodies undertail (transparent smoke.) I'm wondering if there are any cheap LEDs that i can replace the light with. Or is that not possible as the HB undertail is molded to the OEM tail light?

Hey Joseph, how do you like that one? Is it wired correctly for the bike or did you have to cut and splice wires?

I have the smoked hotbodies undertail and went with the BikeLitez integrated tail light. I like it a lot and is much brighter than OEM. Yes there are cheaper alternatives... but IMHO you usually get what you pay for

I have it and it's not as bright as OEM so it may not be any better with the smoke undertail. The OP can always get an LED replacement "bulb" to fit in the original tail light.

As a brake light, it's plug and play. If you want to wire it with the integrated turn signals, you'll need to use taps, splice, or make connectors.

The brake and tail light were fine, but I spliced on the stock connectors for the turn signals for easy removal. I like it a lot.

Here's a link to an LED 1157 bulb replacement that I have that is a simple plug in to the oem socket and is brighter than stock. I've used this bulb for three years and am very happy with it.

There is an entire thread about this bulb and others on another forum if you are interested.

The one I plan on getting is this one....

http://www.customled.com/products/in...ninja_250r.htm

$99 isn't bad, and I like the triple flash when braking, there's too many half-braindead SUV drivers (usually on cellphones) in my area that love to ignore bikes so the triple flash is a nice wakeup call for them.

I want to combine the integrated tail light with a set of fast blinking LED turn signals mounted as close to the light as possible to maintain legal status on yearly inspections here in Texas. Integrated tail lights by themselves won't pass inspection.
