Finally, better motorcycling weather!

A cool-ish front just came through last night. I woke up to a somewhat cool 73* this morning. The high is 82*! SWEET!!!

The next few days are expected to be:
M: 82/62
Tu: 85/60
W: 87/60
Th: 89/62
F: 90/64
S: 85/66
Sun: 82/64

Should make for some excellent riding this week. Still a bit on the warm side, but WAY better than mid to upper 90's during the day and lower to mid 80's at night.

Gotta love Washington!

It never really rained on me that much when I visited there with my wife. We were hiking with a friend in northern Washington, it rained then, but that was it.

Washington is actually quite scenic when it doesn't rain, and when summer rolls around you just have to be ready to ride your ass off that weekend!

If you don't like getting wet, you don't ride in Washington State

It's terrible in southern California right now. It was 86 this morning at 8am, its currently 104 at 6pm in Riverside.

Tomorrow is supposed to be 100ish and then starts to cool off to 96 on Wed

Wish I could take the car on campus, at least motorcycle parking is close to my building.

Yeah, just in time for me to be Little Ninj-less. :-( I'll be riding Big Ninj around for now I guess. Low-sided Lil' Ninj on Blood Mountain and her frame is bent. Sad, sad day. :-( Miss her already. My leathers saved my butt though. Other than a couple of bruises, I walked away from a regularly fatal corner, and for that, I'm humbly grateful...same corner had been nearly fatal just the night before to a cager who ended up in the deep ditch upside down.
Didn't meant to hijack your thread, just sad about not having my favorite bike to enjoy this GREAT weather! Not ready to take Big Ninj up to the mountains, so my touring season may be over prematurely. Thankful to be ok. Love my gear!

Sorry to hear about the very warm weather. I had to put on some cold gear this morning, 55* right now. I was even late to work, but I didn't care. Still a great ride.

It was a beautiful 42 degrees when I hopped on the bike this morning. Can we say: WAKE UP CALL!

I love the cool air in the mornings. Feels so great, even if you are shivering. LOL

I may actually wear a little more tomorrow. I may actually put on my cold weather gloves. I can live with the summer gloves if the temps are 50+, but the ride will be a bit more relaxing if I warm the hands some.

It was 53 degrees when I left the house here in Georgia. It was a great ride in. I had to switch over from the mesh jacket (that I have been riding all summer) to the leathers. I had to work a 12 so I didn't get off until 7pm. I was all ready to go jump on the bike and ride home right away until I saw what was parked next to my ninjette at work. I had to drool a while over the R69S before I could mount the bike for the ride home.

That BMW is a beautiful bike!

I think I'd chase after this if I wanted a similar bike:
