You want to get as FAR away from nice weather as you can when you buy your bike. Nice weather/Riding weather brings the prices up. Sell in summer, buy in winter.

Been working full time since May, with less than ~4hrs sleep each night (damn you DoD) and I start school next week, I'll be weening off work and stopping at the end of september, I need the money but I can't wait to get some sleep.

try to work as many hours as you can while you don't have a bike

then when you get one, work less if that's possible lol. Good to see I'm not the only lurker here without a bike yet.

Yep, I work at the YMCA and all of their jobs (not career positions) are part-time. If I got another job I wouldn't have any time at all, between this one, my school and it...so wtf? :P

How do you still not have a bike? I decided I was gonna save up and buy a bike in May 2011. Worked part-time all summer. Had money to buy a bike by the end of July 2011. I am starting to think you aren't trying hard enough to get a ninja. Haha.

bought my bike by cleaning my family's house and selling all the worthwhile junk we didn't want anymore on ebay. If you have some routers and other random electronics around the house you can make a nice chunk of change.

I'm just waiting for a house to sell before I buy a Ninja. Could be a month, could be a year...fuuuuu

Look at it this way...every day that goes by is one less day away from when you buy your bike
