HJC CL-SP Helmet Size XL
Up for sale is an HJC CL-SP in size extra large. I purchased this last summer, and it is a great helmet IMO. I am selling because it is a bit big on me.. I was between a large and an extra large, and after I lost some weight, it seems just a bit too loose on me.. before I start shopping for a replacement, I am putting it up for sale.
The helmet is in near mint condition. It includes the storage bag and the original box. It still has the original clear shield. The CL-SP is comfortable and quiet. It has great ventilation on top and in the chin area. The only blemish on the helmet (if you want to call it that) is at the right rear exhaust port opening.. there is a small scratch there.. I took it off in my garage and it tapped the garage door track just a bit... its not a big deal but that's the only thing I have ever noticed... believe me I kicked myself for even doing that. You can only notice it if you come really close. Here are some pictures. Box with size: Interior: Top view: Back view: (you can see the scratch on the right hand exhaust port) Right view: Front view: Left view: Helmet in bag on box: Located on Long Island, NY $55 plus shipping

I have the same helmet.
It was my first ever helmet and it's still my first helmet. It's a great helmet. The replacement shields are cheaper than other brands. Switching shields only takes me less than 5 sec. If you're on a budget and looking for the most bang for the buck, then this is it.... I went to Cycle Gears to try on the Shoei x11 or x12 and the Arai vector. This helmet has more top padding than the Shoei and the Arai was very uncomfortable to me. May be they just needed to be broken in. Great price. |

If you are interested, you should be able to order Large replacement cheek pads and a new Large liner to convert your helmet to a large. I believe the shell size is the same for Large thru 3XL on the HJC CL-SP.

it is the same shell, but I looked into that... by the time you buy the liner and cheek pads you are at around $45.. not worth it for that much IMO.. better to sell it to someone that can use the size.
Thanks though. Adam
