Whats the best/cheapest online site to buy Woodcraft Clip ons for my 2010 250R?

Hey all, my next mod is a set of Woodcraft clip ons. I hear they clip right on with no adjusting the front fork height and dont have any fairing/tank clearance issues.

So i saw a pair on ebay going for $150... is that the best deal out there?
Just wondering if anyone has gotten them any cheaper from an parts website.

Thanks
-Jae

There's guy on here that has a store and sells them and offers a 10% discount. I think if your purchasing the woodcrafts, you have to make sure you get the ones made with the risers.

yea i found the WC's esp made for the 250 and they are $160ish on that site, how do i get 10% off? that would make them cheaper than the set on ebay. also i have seen one site list the 250 specials as 37mm and one list as 36mm. i know the forks on the 2010 are 37mm so i guess im ordering those lol.

throw a couple of washers in the forks as preload adjusters... bingo! preloaded front forks for a few cents in washers.

Great idea KK... a piece of PVC irrigation pipe cut to desired length also works.

yup, PVC will work, too. I like the washer idea as it's easy to "tune" the length you need by adding/subtracting washers. Once you get the length you want, measure it and use PVC pipe cut to that length. Just be sure to deburr it properly or you gonna have nasty white particles/bits in the forks. Personally, I just leave the washers.

Hey Kim. I have quick question. I ordered my clip-ons, and when I install them I plan on doing the washer mod. I was also reading about the fork oil level. Would you think adding 1oz to each tube would help stiffen it up a bit? I weigh about 175lbs. I am not looks for race inspired handling. I would just like the front a little firmer.

you could try adding 1 oz of oil and see if it helps your problem. let us know how it turns out. use 10w fork oil.

Will do. I am waiting for my parts because I only want to take off the stock bars once.
