Your gonna need to take some parts to a machine shop unless you have one in your basement, it's possible at home... But not as cheap or easy as having them done right IMO

You should at least go to a machine shop and look at all their cool toys.

I know a guy with machining equipment and he used to work for the kawi dealer in town, haven't seen much of him since he left.

Have you done some racing before, I know you have track miles, but what about actual racing? If not maybe just leave the engine stock for the first season. Rider > Engine mods and all that jazz. If you have just lots of money to spend burning a hole in your pocket and you just want to do it lol - forget what I said

I already have a GSXR shock, pod filter, jetting and exhaust. I have been thinking about boring the engine, but have no experience in that area or else i would have already done it.

^^^ yeah those are not what I meant as engine mods, more speaking of internal work like bore/piston job. Mostly because racing is obviously hard on engines and its one more thing to worry about. But anyways, if you want to do it, go for it. Just offering another perspective.

With those mods I already have, I will have to be in the unlimited class anyways, so i might as well go all out.
