Officially have permission!!

Got permission from my wife to buy the ZX10. Just need to save up for the next month so I can pay cash for it.

Quick question, do you think they will give me a killer finance rate for maybe 3k if I only get it for 6 months?

Also, anyone interested in buying an 07 250 with RS3 exhaust and 18k on the clock for $1600??

Yeah like 35lbs. So if you weigh 150, get a 600..... if you weigh 200, get the 1000

I asked myself and received permission too!!! Woohoo! Because I'm so nice to myself, I'm going to wait at least a year before I add another to my arsenal though. I'm never ditching the Ninjette. Seriously though, congrats!!! That's very cool. I say you do dishes and dole out massages every night for a month for that kind of treatment.

Congrats. Be careful the new zx10's have insane horse power from the factory. It will be like learning to ride all over again for you.

Local dealer had 2009 green s/e ZX10 for 8,995. That was quite a buy and didn't last long. Kawi rates were a bit higher than others (4.9 for 24 mos).

Well the deal was that I have to give up the 250. So it will be sold, even though I don't want to. It has been a great bike

I have my busa and the little 250. The 250 is a kick to ride and I ride it alot. The busa is also alot of fun but gets me in trouble with the boys in blue if I don't watch myself.

A few choices for color:

Copper
S/E Green/Black/White
or
Black

I'm thinking S/E model...

When I saw it in person, I was rather torn. It was ok looking. Different, but I wasn't sure.

I have always liked Kawi green. I'd prolly go with the SE model, because it just looks sweet.

Anyway I doubt you can go wrong with either scheme. Flip a coin and if you disagree with the coin's verdict then you know the answer

Not sure what kind of a deal you can get for financing, but if you are only financing $3k for 6 months, it's not really going to make a huge difference on your payment. The difference between 1% and 10% (APR) is only $13.22.

I've always like the orange one.

Wow! I know you have been itching to move into a bigger bike.. ZX10 is a HOT bike.. I know a good amount of people will tell you 1K is too much.. but its all up to you.. I was having a conversation yesterday with someone that gave up his GSXR750 when he had his kids... said he never kept it below 8K.. rode like an animal.. knew he had to stop riding...

With my 600 I have never gone above 8K.. and usually I'm between 4 and 6k.. the power is manageable... ride it like a 250 and all is well.. if you need more power.. lean on it a bit harder.. just dont go nuts... if you can control your right hand you will be fine.

The 250 taught me to ride.. the 600 has shown me how to ride a little different..

I think I'll be ok on the throttle management. I don't want anything bad to happen to it, so I'm going to keep the front wheel down. I am in no rush to learn to wheelie. I'll never learn to stoppie. It will be my cruiser with a kick of adrenaline every now and again.

You'll definitely be ok. But be that instantaneous warp-speed power is highly addicting. HIGHLY addicting....

My clutch cable's only been broken for about 2 days but my hands are shaking non-stop, and my vision has begun to blur!

Gahhh i need a fix!!!

I have to admit....there is a Rossi Fiat R1 with full race Graves exhaust here that is calling to me....but I shall resist its pull.
