New Gen Valve Float

Recently I've noted a stuttering on my 07' above 13,000 R.P.M. I thought my main jets might be a-little lean. I'm pretty sure it's valve float. I have a tach that came from an older Pre-gen and is red lined at 14,000, not the 13,000 that the 07' is red lined at. Whatcha guys think - valve float?

Bill

Could you be hitting the rev limiter? I've found mine. It removes spark from one cylinder briefly.

If your '07 has it's original CDI box then the engine will be limited to the late-pre-gen redline RPM.

Thanks TJ and Greg. I didn't know the 07' Ninja had a rev limiter. Me bad. As my friend once said to me, "Bill, stay away from the wheel barrow, you know you don't know nothin' bout machines."
